Report: Cody Rhodes Cast In ‘Naked Gun’ Reboot

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has reportedly landed a movie role.

Russ Weakland and Nola Ojomu of DailyMail.com report that Cody Rhodes has been cast in the upcoming Naked Gun reboot. The cast is set to include Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson.

The report cites insiders who note that Rhodes will make a cameo, and he “may be hypnotized” in a nod to the original movie. The source stated that Rhodes might end up playing himself in the film. This source also said that the role might be a cameo, but Cody’s role was still important. The Naked Gun reboot is directed and executive produced by Akiva Schaffer, and it is set to hit theaters on July 18, 2025.

Rhodes has some acting experience, as he played Kurt Smoller in Warehouse 13 and Derek Sampson in Arrow.  He was also a judge on Go-Big Show.

Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes’ wrestling career has reached new heights. He beat Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40. Rhodes will defend the title against AJ Styles at WWE Backlash.
