Sevilla fullback Telles :Mendilibar changed everything

Manchester United fullback Alex Telles hailed the impact of coach Jose Luis Mendilibar at Sevilla this season.

Mendilibar guided Sevilla away from the relegation zone and also to Europa League glory after replacing Jose Sampaoli.

Telles, who was on-loan at Sevilla from United, said: "It was an atypical season, with ups and downs, but we finished in the best possible way.

"Mendilibar was essential to change the club's momentum. The players were also intelligent. It proved that work, confidence and not giving up are worth it.

"I am very happy."
