Lecce coach Roberto D'Aversa hailed his players after their 3-2 win against Fiorentina.

Lecce stunned the Viola with Patrick Dorgu scoring an injury-time winner for the hosts.

D'Aversa said: "A bit of everything, commenting on another defeat would have been difficult. We had an excellent first half, scoring and hitting the woodwork twice. Then we found ourselves down on a rebound, we gave away the second goal.

"But this is proof that when you believe in something you can achieve unthinkable goals. Credit goes to the boys who believed in it, driven by great fans, they are like teams that fight for the Scudetto. Then we won with a goal from a 2004 (Dorgu), an unmistakable sign of our policy.

"We complain too much about the results despite the performances. It's clear that we have to look at the points, but we've never been in the last three positions. These guys have proven to be a united group, otherwise you won't come out like this.

"But we have to think with balance, when the result is there and when it isn't because we have to think about the final objective."
