'I don’t see anyone drafting…' NBA insider drops bomb on Bronny James’ draft combine after reports from scouts

Bronny James, the son of NBA legend LeBron James, has been making waves in the NBA community for his decision to enter the NBA 2024 Draft. 

However, Bronny James has not been at the top of his game due to his medical issues. After his performances in the NBA combine, many analysts believe that he still needs time before making the big step in his career.

Furthermore, it does not seem that the NBA scouts are interested in Bronny James’ recent performances. In addition, an NBA insider revealed some news that would not go down well with Bronny James, LeBron James, and their fans.

In an appearance on NBA Today on Thursday, NBA insider ESPN’s Marc J. Spears revealed some unkind remarks made by two scouts about the oldest son of LeBron James.

If the [Los Angeles] Lakers don't draft him, I don't see anyone drafting him. Marc J. Spears said

It remains to be seen what happens next with Bronny James at the 2024 NBA Draft. Notably, many in the industry believe that he will be drafted by his dad’s current team, the Los Angeles Lakers .

Bronny James ‘Legitimized Himself’ as an NBA Draft Prospect

Many NBA greats and NBA analysts are divided on the opinion of Bronny James playing in the NBA. Some believe he is not ready yet, while others believe that he has what it takes to compete in the NBA. 

ESPN Jonathan Givony believes the latter. James made a significant rise in his most recent rankings and persuaded scouts that he deserves to be selected in the draft next month, as per Givony.

This was a positive week in Chicago for Bronny James, He's moved into the late second round of our latest projections. We're gonna have him at 54 in our next update. That's all the way up from the back end of the top 100. Talking to NBA people out here, they feel like he's legitimized himself as a real NBA prospect. Givony said

On the sports side of things, the 2024 NBA draft will happen in June. Bronny James and many other talented prospects will be looking forward to the draft, hoping they get picked for the team of their choice.
